On my old 4K I had a few years ago, I adapted a Sigma dizy to it one afternoon, because I had nothing better to do, and had several of them amongst a pile of junk. Wasn't too hard to do, and transistor ignition is ALWAYS better than points.

nah i'd get the mitsu elec points going, you can usually pick up a magna dizzy at the wreckers for 55 bucks. make sure you get the ignition module too or you won't have sparks i don't know if these are inside the dizzy or an external alloy box with fins

no, no guides or howtos, just wing it, maybe you can write one rock up the the wreckers and start hunting for bosch distributors that don't have points in them. that's the model you need

i dunno, whatever the fuckin good magna head is that everyone gets to put on their sigma motors. you don't need a link, just to go the the wreckers and look at things. or fuck just call them and ask for an electronic dizzy to suit an astron, they'll know what one you need

This was just something I did with bits I had - no suggestion that it's the best dizzy to use or anything! I used the rather unreliable old school sigma system anyway, with the finned box with a transistor on top of it, just because I had it.
