as the title says, looking for a 70s celica. Preferably in canberra/surrounding region. Must be in good condition, with straight and clean panels. Will pay 2k-5k pending on condition. Most levels of modification acceptable.

Not in surrounding district but might be worth the effort given that i will take $1,200 for it, leaves you money for transport and fixing the head The car details are
Original white duco with the only rust on the front of bonnet
Small dent in front left hand guard (this is one of the straightest celicas iv seen)
3T/2TG Hybrid (head is off motor due to blown head gasket)
Was told the motor has forged pistons but i can not confirm this
Twin Solex Carbys
Full set K&N filters
Pacemaker Extractor
LSD sprinter diff centre
Globe Mags (14in) tyres seconded hand
Aluminium half roll cage
SAAS sports steering wheel
Cobra Racing seat and 2 Harness
Checker plate floor plates on newish carpet
Pioner Stero System (basic)
Battery in boot and kill switch (partly fiited)
Also have lots of spares as the donor car for the above was being set up for rallying but never seen the track due to poor body so i put them in my good car
2T motor (going well when removed)
2TG motor (broken valve)
Tinted windows
all lights, bumpers, trim etc removed from spare car

I have a 1977 RA28 celica. Engine is a heavily modified 18RG-U. The car was kept in a garage for 20 odd years and hardly driven before I got it. There is little rust as it has been garaged so long, the body is extremely straight but the paint is a bit faded from the sunlight (dark green). The only problem is that I am in SA, but if you're interested in the car, shoot me a PM. I can also include a pop-top sunroof for the car (not installed), and it has a custom centre console for a CD player, and 3 gauges. Interior is immaculate, I've just had all the vinyl door panels resprayed.
