PerFourmance Motorsport should be able to help you out!
Check out http://www.pms.net.au/ If you can do the job yourself I may be able to help with the wiring!

PerFourmance does good work, but expect to pay for it. A friend of mine was quoted "up to $20k" for an SR20 conversion from those guys!

Thanks Guys (i love the friendly nature at this site!!)
I've been ripped of so many times by workshops in the past for work that i wished i'd just done by myself in the first place, But when you work almost 6 days a week it makes it impossible....

I think the easy way to do it is to get a JZX81 half cut (JDM Chaser). Then just swap everything you need, dash motor, ect!
Cheers

well instead of swapping things in and out...copletely srip the front end of the cressi we started by lifting the car on a big jack, unbolted cross member ect.,lowered the jack the lifted the body of the car up using an engine hoist..we wheeled out everything in one bit engine ,box ,crossmember, suspention steering ect..wheeled the chaser stuff under the cressi went nuts with the rattle gun and bobs your uncle....
pull all the fidly stuff out the chasers engine bay first though like hoses , intercoola and yeah stuff leave engine accesories on he engine dont dismantle all that crap leave it on the engine... as far as wiring goes...if you listen to one thing i say listen to this...take the wiring loom off your old engine (the 7m) and also the new one (1j) pack them in a box and send them to sixworks DO NOT DO IT ANOTHER WAY DO NOT TRY INSTALLING THE DASH ITS NOT WORTH THE HEART ACHE
jump in turn the key and go do burnouts out front everyones houses that said you cant do it
seriously though its not like changing a tyre man it pretty involved
