yes i'm interested, but would really really like to see pics of the car and the damage so i can assess how worthwhile it is to get. I have my cousin over in perth right now he can take it off your hands if the deal is right.

This makes for an easy bolt in performance upgraded engine for anyone with an older Celica. PLUS you get a whole bunch of stuff like clutch, 5spd gearbox, brakes, panels, dash, etc. and a free set of steak knives  .
Or, replace damaged panels and drive this one.
My wife has been driving it post-accident, though I suppose it is yellow sticker bait as is.

It is in this week's Quokka for $1,500ONO.
I'm a lousy salesman, and keep forgetting to tell people stuff like: 3 months rego., manual box, new Bendix Oerformance brake pads, new clutch and master cylinder, 6,500km on 1996 Gen #2 3SGE (short motor only), has been a daily driver post-crash without problems.
If it were to go to a good home (ie a Toymodder), I'd sign it over for $1,000. I'm getting really sick of all the tyre-kickers who look at me blankly when I explain what a Gen. 2 3SGE is and the conversion work required. Grrrr ....

C'mon guys, who wouldn't want this car? I literally bent my car around a tree and got it fixed for $2200, surely this can't cost $3500 to fix (unless there's bad structual damage). $1000 is a bargain!

Unfortunately, my wife saw her ... erm ... 'dream car' yesterday arvo - and is now dead-keen to buy it. While not to my taste, I won't mention what it is for fear of offending a fellow Toymodder (it is a Yota).
So, she now insists that I help her sell it fast.  for me - bargain for one of you guys.
If any of you can make a reasonable cash offer, you can drive it away tonight! We're taking triple digit sums now - so grab yerself a bargain!

Sorry to put pressure on you - if the wife hadn't fallen for the Corolla she saw yesterday, I would've been happy to wait a couple of weeks for $1K. As is, looks like we're selling it today or tomorrow for $800 cash. Have a buyer coming tomorrow arvo.

So, I bought this car yesterday, many thanks to Justin and Kristy. While driving home, I'm thinking "Shit how do I tell the girlfriend I've bought another car?" (this is the forth Celica I have, let alone all the others I also own). Any way, shes rocks up from work, blows her lid at the new car on the lawn then meekly asks if she can drive it?! PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
