Running a HKS Fuel cut defender, and an APEXi AVCR boost controller.

The Apexi AVCR is just temporary until my decent boost controller, a Greddy Profec E01 goes in sometime next week.

Here is a pic of my soarer at WSID last week.

Just to clarify something that took a LOT of explaining in a similar "geez toymods sucks balls" thread....

Kristian, please take note of this...

These forums are NOT the Toymods Car Club Inc.
They are in no way an accurate representation of the car club, its financial members, nor the sort of activities that go on within the club on a personal level.

Seriously, if any of you complaining about the "shit that goes on in these forums" came along to the events, meetings, cruises etc that regularly occur - you would realise that we are all a bunch of like minded people, who do actually help each other and share their love of the Toyota Product.

Saying that the forums are the car club is like saying V8 supercar racing is the performance automotive scene of Australia. It's complete crap.

We give each other shit ALL THE TIME. THe difference is it's all a big joke, no one takes it quite so seriously.

Now if i have to explain that to anyone again, i am seriously going to scream, AT THEM.

Totally ghey 100%

Kristian - that's a good time slip, I cannot wait to see what you eventually get with the stock turbos.

People still like to drag race their dyno figures right along with their limited knowledge.

Witzl is right - these forums are not a good representation of the Toymods members (I hope). You will see the members encouraging other people to have a go (both on these forums and in person).

love that call jason... drag racing dyno slips.....

there should be a feature on this forum that automatically changes text when it is typed from " my car should run, could run, would have run but" to simply.... "my car hasn't run!"

who cares what his hp figure is, cause at the end of the day it means nothing.... Kristian ran 13.5 (good time by the way mate) if your car has 500kw but only ran a 13.6 then it is slower.... if you want to compare figures, the blacktop is the only way.

Cheers
Stew

you use the terminal speed in MPH and the weight of car in lbs, put it into a formula and it tells you how much hp at the flywheel you have. I think that is what he was referring to. So in that case 107mph with 1700kg is pretty damn good! Smile

dude, i have never seen you at an official Toymods event, so to me your comment comes rather illinformed. Then again you might have come to an event i havent been to, i dont know!

Regardless of that - in the interpersonal realm of Toymods, it IS a joke kristian, and if you can't see that then you need to go and get yourself a sense of humour! Razz

I mean no offence, i am simply trying to encourage you (AND EVERYONE ELSE) to get over the problems you have with people on the forums and come meet some of the real toymods people, so that you all can realise the forums do not represent the club.

yeah, been to a few things, but these days work is killing me cause I'm so busy. I gotta get out more.

Concerning toymods, I just see so many fights on so many threads its just a bit dissapointing. Everyone is entitled to their own point of view, but the problem is it quite often things just get nasty, and the thing just gets blown out of proportion, and it turns into a slanging match.

thats all i can think of to say right now.

no, the problem is when someone else believes their opinion is fact that the problem arises.

im not trying to start another argument here...
the fact is that shootout mode reads higher than older ways of doing it.. shootout mode is now the correct way...BUT as ive stated a million times would read as around 160-170rwkw done the old way(pre shootout)

WHO CARES ABOUT THE OLD WAY !!!!

Simple fact... I pulled 204rw kw in my stock soarer running 17psi on shootout mode.....deal with it.

Shootout is accross the board. If you want an accurate reading, that is current, and up todate, go shootout mode.

I'm over this jag7799. If you want to keep comparing my dyno figure with an old out dated technique, so be it.

get over it already, we sorted this out last week.... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Dude, you cant live your life trying to tell people things all the time. Just accept that some people will listen to your words of wisdom, and some wont. Just accept the fact that I dont care what you say, and I never will. Stop bringing up my business in coversation. It seems as if you need it to get your point accross. My business has nothing to do with a bloody dyno run, or comparing it to an old out dated technique of dyno runs.

What matters is here and now. Maybe when you get older you will realise that life isnt about trying to change other peoples views all the time and trying to prove that you are always right. I have learned this, the hard way, and I hope one day you will too.

Please, just drop it will you buddy, cause I dont think we need your constant yapping about this anymore, it has become quite tiresome......

how long is a piece of string? using new laser equipment or an old ruler.

who cares.

it ran 13.5 at 107. that MPH is good for a high 12, the sixty foot and mid range is why it probably didnt get it. that time at that weight indicates the power is correct using an OLD MOROSSO calculator that has been around before i was a tingle in dads ball sack.

for fucks sake stop trying to race dyno sheets.

Congrats on the time, now put the car on diet Razz

I really dont car if your car makes 20 or 200kw, if it was made on a dyno dynamics or 2 rebel sport tread mills. Its an official time which is better then any kw or hp figure.

nice time... and I was going to go that night to check out the action. Would have loved to see it.
