My diff mount rubber has cracked all the way through and rather than replace it with another stock rubber one, where can i take it to have the rubber cut out and have it filled with polyurethaned.

Try the Nolathane or SuperPro catalogs for your part. Otherwise I know where to buy solid polyurathane bits, which can then be made to size on a lathe.

At any auto parts store like Repco, Burson, AutoBarn. Or a suspension shop. There is probably polyurathane bushes already made for your whole car if you wanted to buy them.

Somewhere inside the tip I call my bedroom is a magazine with an article on mixing up your own polyurethane & making/modifying your own engine mounts. Looked easy, & cost fukall if I remember correctly. Let me just dig it out.......

Thanks for the inf guys,

Have made a few calls but no joy.

I've got one question though.
Does anyone know the drying time for that polyurethane mix?

Hey Gary,

Congratulations on your newly extracted power! Nice mod.

I had BD4's hook me up with a full set of engine mounts. They were professionally done and well finished, no complaints....except for the price :( I think BD4's charged about $100 each mount. Thanks to BD4's, I now get everything on a written quote. Even extras like oil and fluids.

ps. Shouldn't be more than 12 to 24 hours surely????
