Have tried... but the clutch didnt like it.
The VFR's have a Duel Linked Braking System.
Which... If you dont get it...
That like a car the front a rear brakes are connected together and when you apply the front brakes the rears also get some pressure too..
This is from the Honda Web site... It may make some sense.
Newly Configured Dual Combined Brake System for Sportier Braking Control
The VFR’s excellent Dual Combined Brake System has been reconfigured for sportier performance with more emphasis on strong, responsive front brake operation, whether using only the hand brake lever, the foot brake pedal or both. The compact secondary master cylinder integrated into the left-side front calliper mount ensures a measured balance of front and rear braking control whenever the hand brake lever is used, while the foot brake is connected to the centre piston of only one of the front brake callipers to help ensure an optimum balance of braking forces, especially during heavy applications. The overall result is a more aggressive, front wheel-oriented balance of braking control that provides riders with greater control and confidence in most braking operations.

The ford handles tyre-ripping duties quite well for now... plus the sound of that beast is enough to make kids cry... literally...
Wish I had the money to buy it
