2JZ spigot bearing Tue, 17 September 2002 04:18 Go to next message
Hi all,

Since I'm putting a manual transmission behind my 2JZ-GTE, I need to buy a spigot bearing (ie that little one that presses into the end of the crank). I'm sure I can get it through Toyota, but they won't help me until I give them the chassis number of the original car. And since the original car is an auto, there's no listing for a spigot bearing - DOH! Rolling Eyes

So does anyone have the part number for this thing? Or failing that, can someone give me the chassis number of any car with a manual JZ engine? I assume they all have the same spigot bearing.

Any help appreciated. Smile

I have a Koyo bearing (non genuine).
Part No: 62012RSC3 - FG GSR 00012
The numbers in red appear to be the important ones. Basically they designate the bearing type: deep groove ball bearing with 12 mm inner diam and a 32 mm outer diam.

It looks identical to an M series one.

this is an interesting link that can help people looking for parts but get asked for chassis numbers

Try the Toyota part number 90363-12002
Common to the Supra, Soarer, Chaser, Mark 2 etc
Also on some Hilux and Liteace models that may have been aussie delivered
