compatible injector plugs for 4agze?

hi folks,
i am looking for cable plug/connectors for my 4agze injectors (i am building the engine loom from scratch).
i went to the wreckers and clipped off a set from a camry (2S, 3S, ??) as they had the right oval shape ... but when i get home they dont fit: slots for locators and retaining clip are 180 degree out... damn. ;(
so - should i simply locate a 4age powered engine and clip away (did i hear someone howl "noooo" just then?) ... or are there other engines that can donate me 4 plugs?
i tried ABC at wacol today... next is sumner park toyota and ABC at oxley.

hiya matt,
the overall shape of the plug is right - is just the two outside locating grooves and holding clip that are in wrong spot - it looked like a match till i got it home - not your fault.
the 4agze are a type E plug, but it looks like there are 3S with Type E and F plugs.
looks like i need to find a 4age (pink), 22RE (orange) or 7M (yellow).... and the donor car has to have a resister block for the injectors (these appear to all be low impedance) ... btw - what shape are those 5ME injectors (seeing as they're so common at wreckers now)
... next time i bring one with me - is just that i am just reticent to bring one to the wreckers in case they think i've pinched it - funny about that..

They're a C type connector. Going to try them out now. My makeshift injector test bench (ie. 12V battery charger and resistor) showed that these at least are not seized, I'll strike some luck (finally) in terms of leakage.
Off topic, but whilst i'm here, can the megasquirt use the ig signal generated by the ignitor in the standalone toyota ignition system?

yup - i think you should use the tacho output from the igniter instead of a line from the (-) on the coil.
glad to hear all them injectors worked!
