Re: RC car 4 sale Wed, 18 September 2002 08:15 Go to previous messageGo to next message
but you have to wonder how much its worth i paid $850 for the car and thats with a discount as i work at the shop, this was a few years ago as well and prices have gone up since but it just came in a small box, with nothing no gear at all except the car not even a body Shocked then i forked out $110 for a kyosho body, $250 for the wheel conroler then all the other crap like little add on bits tools ect, its a very sexy looking car looks great on the shelf but i never get time to use it and i guess i may as well sell it and buy something i will always be using but it gives me the shits at how much value they loose once you buy it, $2,500 and i'm lucky if i can find someone to pay $800 for it.

can't help but ask myself, "should i sell it or keep it"

plus i ordered it and it took 6 months to get it imported Shocked

Gin52e.....

Not interested in purchase, but it might be worth putting it on E-bay, Australian site.

Seen some of these going for quiet a bit, and with what you have included, you might get a decent $$$ from there.

MIKE.

I think you should get the money you are asking. RC gas cars are very expensive and second hand is usually the way to go for new comers into the hobby. I sold a couple of old Kyosho Super 10's on ebay last year for a good price. I'l be in the market, early next year, for a new 1/10 gas tourer to run in the "Pro Tourer" class in Brisbane. I need the new Kyosho V1R with a snappy rear exhaust donk to keep up! Should be interesting but bloody expensive as usual!

Good luck with your sale!

Justin

Re: RC World Cup car 4 sale "UPDATE" Sat, 21 September 2002 07:03 Go to previous messageGo to next message
yeah the V1R's are great car, compared to the world cup spider the spider has won everytime the only great thing about the V1's is how easy it is to set up the suspension and get it all running perfectly, the spider has it over the V1R's except the V1's-R's have it over the spiders by being so easy and simple to set up, but prices for new cars are just crazy at the moment in our shop we just can't sell them, only people who are willing to buy them are the one's who are seriouse racers, the average guy wont look twice once they see the price which is a shame. but the prices will only keep going up and up and i can't see them ever getting any lower,

i remember when a 1/8th scale car was $800 now your looking at well over a thousand and thats just in a couple of years Rolling Eyes
