If you're talking about a stock 25 year old 18R-C with 300,000km on the dial, you'd be pretty silly to put any NOS in it at all, unless you're looking for an amusing way to put it out of its misery.

I just bought the car.78 corona with only 79,0000km from an old lady in the hunter valley.it is in really good condition.I only paid $600 for it whick left me plenty of $$$ to mod up.Any straight forward power up for this car?

Yup, 18R-G is the easiest way to go. Pretty much a straight bolt-in, and you can chuck in a Celica 5-speed while you're at it (also a bolt-in).
You are aware that nitrous is illegal on the street and attracts pretty big fines?
