Anyone else playing Doom 3?

I wasn't sure what to think at first, but the more I got into it the more I like it. A mix between a horror movie, half life, and the movie Aliens. It's a genuinely scary game!
So far I'm up to Delta Labs 1.

Heh, to tell the truth, I can't even remember delta labs. I got the game two wednesdays ago and have been playing it a little each night as the daytime is too bright.
I think it's even before you make the trip to hell isn't it?
Speaking of which, I think the trip to hell is about 75-80% of the way into the game.

At Delta Labs, haven't been to hell yet. Its just after the monorail ride where it crashes. Enjoying it so far, but I'm getting a bit sick of looking at metal floors/walls/ceilings.

im just trying to assemble the plasma coupler or something on the teleporter now...
fucking getting harder
still using the shottie as the main weapon
nothing beats it at point blank range
also just got the BFG.. omg coooooooooool

Once you stuff around with the teleporters, you'll be heading to hell then soon.
As for point blank range, the chainsaw kicks it's arse. 
Just wait until you get the soul cube. Now that is a cool weapon. Actually, I think the beserk powerup is the coolest thing ever in the game.

That's just the same as when quake, quake2 and quake3 came out. They ran like arse, but now you get them to run several hundred frames per second.
Yep, there be some pretty amazing hardware coming I reckon.
