Hi guys & girls just found your web site and have read all your tips and answered most of my questions but have a few more?.
I have an RT 72 with an 18R-C I have read in your chats that an 18R-C can run on ULP and want to know if this is the case with all 18R-C or if if it's on the block? also I am putting a supercharger onto it what sort of boost can I run with out launching it out the bonnet? I am running a electric water pump and fan and have extractors fitted as well as having a 3000XR cran cams electronic ignition system and a 32-36 weber dose any one have any idear what sort of power I might have as it is undigested and cant get to a dyno just yet
thanks for all the help I may get

its a carby engine... hence any benfits from running cold air into it arent taken up, since it cant increase the air/fuel mix automatically like an EFI can.

perhaps we could make up a thread where everyone can put in there abbreviations and then what they mean so we wont have any more confusion

There are about a bazillion sites out there that explain the common IRC-style acronyms in use on the internet. Do a Google search!

Dont waste your money stroking the 18RG. According Cary(in CA, US) he spent alot of money fitting a 20R crank into an 18RG he's not very happy with the out come. It's even S/C. Runs low 13's in 1/4 mile. Nice but not jaw droping like he thought it would be.
