This gear will allow any 2T or 3T to be upgraded to a 2TG or 2T/3TG Hybrid.

Included is

88260 Yamaha 2TG head
2TG Rocker cover
Timing Chains
All chain tensioners and guides
2TG Timing cover
Dummy Cam (replaces the single 2t/3t cam & add spocket for twin cam chain while still turning the distributor gears)
Any other bits needed I forgot to mention

Asking $350 for the lot.

im sure you'll hate me for asking this, but would you consider separating the cam cover? ive been looking for one of these for my 2TGU "88261" setup. im in melbourne, but i'll pay for shipping.

stupid question i know but would i have to change to 2TG pistons or can i use standard 2t or 3t pistons. secondly would u have a pair of solex's laying around that could be "thrown" in?

You don't have to change the pistons, just swap the head and take the single cam out, set the timing gear up and replace the 2t/3t timing cover with the 2tg one.

I do have a pair of solexes as well.

I thought that there would be problems with the valves hitting the pistons as with the head conversion on the 18r-c to 18RG, what sort of price range with the solex's?

On my engine all clearances were checked and no machining was needed. Solexes range in proce from $200 - $450. I have 3 sets in various conditions.
