I need an air con system.
What are the parts needed and how easy is it to install?

you need to take all the parts off a sprinter if you want to do it yourself, unless you want an aftermarket one fitted. its probably cheaper to do it yourself but not easier. the outside is easy, but your probably gonna have a bit of trouble with the inside, mostly cause its a bit awkward.

If it's anything like the aircon in my MA61 (and it probably is, same era), you will hate yourself for embarking on such a project. If it was me I'd take the easy way out and look for a Sprinter with factory aircon already installed!

I have a Sprinter with Air-con. It was serviced recently and is updated to R134a gas. I could be convinced to sell all the parts.

yeah just find yourself a factory setup and go from there.
I will be doing the same in my AE71 in the near future.
The main parts you will need are:
# in dash evaporator
# Condensor
# compressor
# dryer/separator
# Pipework
# electronics
