what kinda engine?

i was looking at a wrecked ta22 celica today for parts. and i couldnt tell what the engine was.
according to the plates the car was an auto. but there is a manual in there now, so something has been done to it. the engine looks like a 2t/3t engine. only a single cam. but the whole thing was painted. i couldnt find any numbers on it...
anyone guess? from what i could figure out it was a 3t engine as i have one in mine, but im not to sure....
wheres the engine number on these babies?

Engine number is stamped into the block, under the inlet manifold from memory.
