i have a big problem i keep on snapping flywheel bolts would anyone know what could cause this

would anyone know the torque tension to do the bolts up at

any help will be appreciated

this might be an obvious answer but ur probably over tightening them, metal can only take so much force before it gives in and snaps (once a certain amount of force is applied metal becomes very brittle).

+ i thought flywheel bolts where a special type of bolt. like they're soft metal or something.

Dude get new bolts and the highest tesile strenght you can

Of the top Of my head may be 70 ft pound torque. Check it though

high tensile bolts are not designed to be re-used in high torque applications. and if they are re-used they must be returned to the same hole and orientation as when they were removed otherwise they can snap.
however its safe to use flywheel bolts twice maybe 3 rimes since theres so many in a small area
