Would powder coating be an option?

enamel will be fine on the block if its been acid diped, just give it a good dose of wax and grease remover, or if you want a harder finish go for powder coating.

didnt cost me anything.....We just got a dip going at work and we tested it with my block to see how it goes. and it worked very well...If we get a few people like atleast 6 or 8 at a time it may be worth bringing them around and getting them dibber as it will be cheaper but one at a time isnt worth it as it costs about $70 just to start the machine up with the gas...This is in brisbane also....Alloy parts also cannot be done unless u plan on painting them as it does tarnish the finish of them.
