Brilliant!! Surprised

How does the 1UZ perform compared to the 7M? Also, how much did it all end up costing?

That is one sweet ride!!

The V8 is SO much better than the turbo 6. Although it has less peak power, the V8 has power everywhere. In the wet it'll spin the tyres under 1k revs. I'm not scared to drive it in the wet as it doesn't snap out and go crazy it is very smooth and linear. I've started to link turns on my favourite chicanes and can put the back out to any degree I chose. Its definately funner to drive.

It doesn't snap on power either, it used to SNAP, then change gear then SNAP again. Now I can rev the gear right out before changing. With the redline at 7,300 rpm it just keeps revving!

I took it to wakefield park too and it was heaps of fun, the car didn't miss a beat (although I popped a cap from one of my rims Crying or Very Sad )

I don't know about the cost for "all", but the conversion was about 8 grand. Cost is something I could put on my site too.

Rough figures:
$1400 engine & gearbox
$3,500 computer parts, wiring & tuning
$450 belhousing
$1500 new fanbelt, alternator recondition, remote oil filter, rubber engine mounts, thermo fan setup, different sump, exhaust manifold swap, other misc stuff like fuel lines and wires etc.
$450 engineering
$200 flywheel modifications

I recouped over a grand on selling my old parts. And still have a few things left like intercooler and BOV.
