These bits are out of my TA23 'cos I am in the processs of moving to single turbo/after market computer. The loom has been modified and is supplied along with full pinouts.

Sorry
It is Gen 2. I also have a mandrel bend dump pipe and original intercooler modified to suit the 23/28. This comes with all pipes and mounting brackets. And as I have moved to a 6 speed g/box I also have a bellhousing (I have sold the w58). And as they say, there is more! a perfectly good set of turbos.

I'm interested in everything to help put an 1g-gte into an RA28, electronics, cooler and piping and anything else conversion wise?

Thats what i'm hoping! On another note, witzl, would a deposit encourage you to hold the motor until I can organise complete fundage and manipulation of g/f to allow the undertaking of this project?

so... matt... would taking the cordia head and rims off your hands be a start to persuading your girlfriend that 1G-GTx is the path to goodness, righteousness and better sex?

It could be...hehe, the less crap I have lying around, the more likely at least I will be allowed to fiddle with the car some more. I have been told no, but i'm yet to try either guilt or pitiful begging yet.
BTW, do you have any 1ggte associated bits or pieces left (exhaust, gearbox)? Perhaps we could organise a trade?

In taking the picture I realised that I also had replaced the VL Turbo fuel pump with a bosch motor sport pump so the vl pump is also for sale.
Couple of queries on price. I someone want to take the lot, that is:
Dump pipe and cat
intercooler and fittings
Coil and injector balast resister
VL turbo fuel pump
Bellhousing and fork
Air Flow Meter
Turbos, manifold etc
I am after $450 plus any freight.
Otherwise I am happy to entertain offers on the individual bits.

Gidday
Decided not to sell the stuff. I am not in the second hand parts business. Having looked at all the trouble I have to go to to pick, wrap, pack and post I have decided with what has been offered that its just not worth me wasting my time.
When I set about fitting a 1ggte some 5 years ago I had a look and decided that the most cost efficient, and easy, way was to buy a half cut. Its just a matter of swapping it all over along with a bit of engineering - but everything that you need is right there in the manual half cut. Which I might add only cost a little more now than they did 5 years ago.
If you decide to buy just the engine for say $800, yous still have to source all of the other goodies that come with the half cut that you pay the additional $1500 or so. I was willing to part with most of this for around a quarter of this price (not taking into account the dump pipe and cat that must have cots $400 itself) and found myself facing offers, which by the time you take into account all of the time it would take to deal with things, would leave me with the cost of a carton of beer.
Sooo - I gave everything away yesterday to a mate. There are no strings attached. He may have the time and the inclination to sell the items. I have passed on this thread to him.
