7mgte mods???

im about to embark on rebuilding my 7mgte ( mz20 89 soarer , auto) after the thrust bearings were put in backwards and the copper head gasket has leaked. (not my doing ... Really!!).
my first q is what mods do u recomend for say around 400hp ( or less) without spending trillions of dollars!
q2 : where should i get a baering and gasket kit and how much would i be looking at spending on them
q3 doeas any one know where a manual half cut is??? ( i know im dreaming ) or would a 88 model supra h/c do the job withouit fuss?
sory if this doesnt make sense , ( im pissing it up!!!)

as far as mods, how long is a piece of string?
hi flow the turbo, replace wheel with steel unit,
aftermarket computer,
up the boost
metal head gasket i9s a winner but get your block and head machined right
port and polish head
bigger exhaust.....
ect e3ct and so on
availability of half cuts usually depends on where you are in australia,
if your going to buy a whole half cut save yourself thew effort nof doing up the 7M and go a 1 or 2JZ
