3SGE gen3 Engine For Sale

Yet another project purchase that has to go.
3SGE out of a 1994 jap ST20* Celica. I believe these engines have a good crank and shim under buckets standard.
Harness has been cut near the firewall and there is NO ECU. All sensors seem to be in place.
Engine is out of a manual Celica and has the flywheel/clutch assemply fitted. I have no idea what condition the clutch is in.
I have never had the engine running, it is as I bought it from the importer about 6 months ago.
And for all the pic collectors....
Asking $1000.
I'm not interested in negotiating price on here or by e-mail, if you want to haggle come and stand in front of me with a hand full of cash.

I was going to build a car to run in the under 2L Improved Production series but just don't have the time. Might have another go at it in a few years...

Whats the advantage other than the power difference over the 1st gen? looks as though the induction pipes are smaller and theres more pollution gear...

More power is what it's all about isn't it??
I got the engine because i was told they already have shim under buckets and a better crank than the earlier engines. Not much else was going to stay standard...
