Hey guys, i havent been able to find a final concrete answer to this question, i was hoping someone here would know before i start buying the parts ..
Im looking at turboing my 5sfe (1990 celica sx), ive heard that the 3sgte exhaust manifold off the celica gt4 bolts onto the 5sfe motor, is this true? Also with the Burien turbo kit (poweredbytoyota.com/ssfeturbo.html) it comes with a new oilpan, what is the difference between stock oilpan and new one do you think?

I believe they bolt on. The standard 3SGTE engine has an oil return line in the pan, I'd suggest this is the reason for the replacement pan in the kit.

Yes - 5S-FE pattern is the same as 3S-GE/GTE exhaust bolt/port pattern - I've seen this one myself many times over.
Oil drain for turbo is more than likely the reason for the replacement oil pan.

Yes it should I'm pretty sure that the oil pick-ups are the same too? (the 3S-GE and 5S-FE ones are, I know that).
