HELP!!!
I've tried the Castlemine Rod Shop and Conversion Components here in NZ but have had no luck.
Am I right in saying that the bellhousing would be the same for a W57 to a 4A-GE? Because they are the same blocks aren't they.
Please HELP!

Have a look at this site in the NZ members section. There are contact details for a guy in Auckland named Glen Becker who has done this conversion. He may be able to help.

Yogi. Thanks for that
Could you tell me where you got your bellhousing from? and is it tailored to fit your TA22 or is it just a generic 4A-GZE - W55 (I think thats what you have).

Question I actaully got on this one too - does anyone know if the Dellows 4AG-W5x bellhousing kit has got enough room for a 4agze flywheel/clutch? Cos my turbo 4ag is not getting on real well with 4ag flywheel/clutch

I helped a mate put the w supra box into his GZE sprinter.. We used a dellows 4a to supra bellhousing and NO! it doesnt clear it.. BUT!.. If you get the grinder out you can fix that in about 5 minutes and it works magic.. But another note.. He found dellows are complete Xunts to deal with.. like you wouldnt believe.. So just watch em.

Sooo... Is it any easier to attack the dellows with the grinder and make it fit than to make the GZE flywheel fit in the T50 housing?

Speaking about want xunts dellow are here is a little indicator. * 3/3/02 get money order made for 6 bucks to send to Dellow for catalogue (like there ad says) * 19/4/02 call them up and say "Where the f__k is my catalogue!" Guy says to me that they will all be sent out in the next week. * 23/5/02 photocopy receipt of original money order (clearly states Dellow Automotive) and send of a letter to remind them I want a f__king catalogue.
I'm usually pretty patient as I know that most of the automotive world is full of idiots that often go by the term mechanic (any mechanics here? prove me wrong!)
But how can you deal with a firm like that. The hard part is you don't have that many choices!
Flame on!
