4age - 4agze engine mounts the same?

Hello!!
Just a small question...
Can the engine mounts from a rwd 4age from a sprinter be used with NO MODS for a 4agze transplant?
(Planning a 4agze into a sprinter)
And also exactly what mods are needed to use 4ac mounts?
Just wondering whether to chase up some rwd 4age mounts, or if it is cheaper/easier to mod 4ac ones.
Thanks!

4ac ones work absolutely no worries.
Only minor mod is that you have to grind a little off the supercharger cradle mount. No problem and very obvious once you have the engine and mount sitting in front of you.
Do it.

Hi,
This is how we did the engine mounts/supercharger combo. This was a TA22/4AGZE conversion. But it works with a 4AGZE with 4AC mounts (what I used).
1. When you look at the intake side of the engine, you will notice a black brace that supports the inlet manifold, and also a large S/C brace with 5 or so nuts and the one long bolt holding it on.
2. When you put the Sprinter mount on, it will not fit.
3. We placed several nuts on the back S/C brace bolt, and used an angle grinder with a 5 inch METAL blade to cut this of the S/C brace. Take your time, and you will not touch the engine at all.
4. Once this is done, take the nuts of the bolt (Stops the bolt from being damaged), then use a chisel or screwdriver to break the back part of the brace away.
5. The next problem is the black brace. Place this in a vise, and place a bit of pipe over it and gently bend the pipe till it fits with the engine mount on. Use only small bends at a time, and it should fit like a charm.
Cheers,
Justin

Or just turf the black brace supporting the intake.
I found it easier to take the SC support off and grind it, but it's up to you.
But as I said, once you have the parts in front of you it is obvious.
