i just picked up the most beutiful ke35 its bamboo brown in colour and has done gen 129K miles all original the dash and the carpet look showroom condition as one would expect from a lady owner, the 3K is going strong, also if anybody knows about the original Phillips Cassette recorders i'm currently having problems with it, when i stick a tape in it wants to keep changing sides? and when i push the tone button down it stops and plays normally but its a pain in the arso holding it down. So if anyone knows what causes this thanks.
When the 3K dies - was looking at doing a cheap engine conversion? i thought a 5K? or a 2T?

These are a sweet ride.. I had one the same colour with white...yes white trim...same problem with the player...spent $'S with a guy I trust and he could not work it out so went without...at least yours works sometimes
I think they were pretty budget in the first instance...Mine was a 1975 model granny car too...83,000k...still got the books somewhere..was stolen in Canberra and slammed into a tree..they chucked my Bicentennial plates away as well...could not get them replaced..
