you might possibly need the original owner manual for the radio. If it is a standard toyota 1 then you might need the original car manual for the code off it to give to toyota to give you the PIN. I am not of this this though and i guess for ur sake i hope it's not.

I don't think there's a default code for these things. It's happened to me before, just take it to a dealer - they can unlock it for you straight away.

why would WE know YOUR code? if you havent got it written down in your owners manual, you can go to a toyota dealership and have them reset it with a new code number. this is the only way.

Easy tiger! I think he was asking if there's a default code - like the default security code on all Nokia phones is 12345. It sounds like he didn't set the code because if he DID do that I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be silly enough NOT to write it down, let alone ask someone ELSE if they knew it!

ok im calm. they all come from the factory with their own three digit code. i cant remember how much it cost to get it reset but you do have to pay cause they plug in a thing specially for reseting codes and the machine can only be used x amount of times before the dealership needs to get a new one from toyota. why they bother with the shity factory HU is beyond me.
