Can any one Tell me if there is a difference between the jdm rwd distributor cap 2 the aus ae82 fwd item as i took home a fwd cap an it didn't fit has any one else come across this problem and solved it
if so could they tell me what item i need to order
an also what rotor button i need
I gather there are "a few" different cap / rotor combinations. If it is Jap spec you need, expect to visit your friendly Toyota dealer and hand over large sums of money (say roughly $140 ish for what should be a very cheap component. Better to get a complete dizzy somewhere else.

I sourced a RWD 4AGE dizzy cap from the US for about $25 (made by Borg Warner, just out of interest), and then found out that there's a locally delivered celica from around the same year with an identicle cap, could be ST162. A search may yield the correct model.
The rotor button is exactly the same as the local AE82 rotor, so at least that's easy.
