advantages? can't find much except that "it alters the torque band around a bit"
my bottom end is rebuilt, and the head has been polished and ported... i'm also running an aftermarket ECU, do you think it's worthwhile getting more aggressive cams?

dude
the cams of an engine determine the amount of air travelling through the engine at each point in time
more air = more power
more cam duration + more lift = more power
|

Well, with what you've done so far, it'd be a shame to use the stock cams - you'll notice a greater difference from changing the cams than all the other stuff you've done so far.
