since day one i have used platinum plugs in my 18RG, and i've always had this slight misfire, turns out that after 18 months of fucking around, all i need was a set of $12 BP6ES plugs.

DO NOT USE PLATINUM PLUGS IN AN 18RG, unless u have the ignition setup for them

i still wouldnt bother using platinum plugs in an 18RG... even with electronic ignition. Some NGK V-groove style will work just fine if gapped correctly on both points and electronic dizzy's.

I dont personally see the need in spending 6 times as much for a plug that lasts only about 2 times as long. Replacing your $12 plugs every 10000ks or less works for me Smile
