Hi ya!
I have a new problem with my gx60 cress. The problem is that one side of the car is lower than the other. (Driver side)
I have changed all 4 absobers (Gabriel Gas Ryder), and a GA70 front springs but to no avail.
My question... is it possible that the bushings for the front needs replacing? Any advise is useful now....
cheers

I dunno if you have a Pedders store where you live (where ever that is), but over here in the West, Pedders do a $15 suspension check where they check the whole car over, see if anything is worn.
Get that done.

Well i guess that theres no Pedders in my area but i'll just a local mech to look it up for me...
as for saggin springs...i doubt it as it came off a perfectly balanced ga70.....
btw...know any other springs (street/race) which would fit a gx60??

Try the King Springs, Lovells, and Dobinsons websites.
They have online catalogues.

Dear all,
Updates on my car....
Just replaced the absober mounting (right side) and d car is still leanin to d right....Abs condition is good and springs are good as well....
I know that the fastest way outta this mess is by gettin adjustables so i may balance the car's ride height.....but b4 doin so, i would like to find out ways in resolving this...
Okay..bout adjustables, which manufacturer makes em for a GX60 Cressida?? A fren of mine suggested a S13 adjustables....Any comments???

ok firstly here in Aus GX60's arent all that common .. so where abouts are you ? cause Id love some information about some GX60 front brakes ive got sitting on my bench
secondly... you said youve swapped a set of struts from another car into this one. is it possible that those struts are mounted offset in thier mount points in the other car?? perhaps it will make your car sit uneven if your mounting points are the same hieghts?
is it lower all down one side or just in the front?
what about your tyres are they all the same profile and width??
have you looked around the mount points to see if theres any damage?? maybe theres been a hard hit at some point and has pushed up the spring perch making the car sit a little lower??

Thanks for your reply mate! (IRA11Y)
Well it is lower on the front driver side (right hand side) only.
When u go over a speed bump, the right front side will 'drop' first b4 the left.
The last i checked the springs, it was level....(new absobers) btw.
Currently i'm in Malaysia. Tyres are the same width and profile.
How do you check for the spring mounts? I did change my absober mounting (which was cracked) and that did not do the job. What else should i be lookin out for ?? Thanks for your tips mate..
cheers,

measure all 4 corners to see if car is square
ie if down in drivers front it should be up in
passenger rear

How can he measure it, or even see it when he's sitting in the car?

Thanks all fer ur feedback,
Chuck, did ya swapped the rear springs between left and right or u got it from another car?
Well it is noticeable when the car is parked at a level road. When i'm in d car, it didnt went down much though
Any idea on wat IRA11Y was suggestin ?? I'm a newbie to these kinda things guys....
Will take out the absobers along with the discs and measure em...Just to make sure that the component (dont know wats it called) which houses the absobers are the same height....
As for the springs, any good recco as i do want to make my ride abit stiff to minimize body roll.....thanks all
