EOI- 1987 Supercharged AW11 Wed, 25 August 2004 09:37 Go to next message
Hi I am not 100% on selling my car but if the right price is put on the table I might consider it.

This car is in excellent condition.
This is an australian delivered NA car with a conversion.
It has the 4AGZE from the AE92 Corolla and so has the smaller supercharger pulley for higher boost. This is also accompanied by a 175mm (Nevo?) crank pulley and has been shown to be running at 1bar(14-15psi) of boost. The conversion was performed at 93000k's and the engine had 75000k's. The car has now done 120000.

It has the black interior which is in pristine condition except for the gear shifter boot. Other engine mods include a custom air-to-air intercooler mounted in the factory position. The ehaust gases are dispensed through a set of Ceramic coated extractors and a true 2.5" exhaust (ie. VN 2.5" cat and 2.5" straight through mufflers)

I have rebuilt the gearbox and have put in the upgraded synchronisers for 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears as there was a small problem with the standard ones. It also has a VERY tight LSD.

The car is halfway through the fitment of AC. I have installed the electronics but all that needs to be done is to have some of the tubing made up and the fitting of the condenser and compresser (both of which I have).

I have the standard stereo along with the phillips equaliser
which was fitted to australian cars but there is a clarion DX425 head unit in the car with JBL 4" splits in the front and some pioneer speakers in the rear behind the seats.

This car is fully engineered and would be next to impossible to get defected. It has been emissions tested (which it passed) with the forms to confirm.

The car has performed a 14.1 quarter mile at 95mph but I have made a few changes and I believe it could get very close to a 13 second pass. Has been dynoed to be making 174 horsepower at the wheels which is approximately 130 kw at the wheels and 150kw at the engine.
The car also weighs around 1200 kilos with me in it (1125 without)

Having done an Old Pac run with this car I can say that the engine conversion is very tidy, I thought it was factory, the intercooler & piping is a work of art!

It certainly outhandled my SW20 Sad It went a lot faster than my SW20(N/A) Sad and It looks amazing, very tidy interior/exterior. He forgot to mention it's got a sunroof Very Happy(or do they all have that..)
