gtst vs gtr caliper mounting holes? Wed, 25 August 2004 11:49 Go to next message
Anyone know if the mounting holes are different between the 324mm style r32 GTR and the 296mm r33 GTST caliper holes are the same distance apart? or, if not..how different are they?

Purely an out of interest question.

ta, blake.

I think you'll find that the spacing is the same, but the 'legs' are longer to allow for the larger diameter disc.

Cheers

S13 ,r32 , r33 , r34 , z32 all use the same caliper bolt pattern when i have come to changing calipers around on s13 hubs . Will look under a r32gtr and double check it against a hub on the weekend . It is 324mm gtr disc you are after ? , another conversion is e36 315mm M3 discs with R32gts calipers with one small s spacer from the upper bolt mount hole to the caliper . Theres a few drawing around the net of that one . Might be cheaper and german discs are way better that crappy brembo discs which you can get aftermarket .

On any Nissan strut with the correct offset of the disc .
Check the Uk Nissan 200sx club web site , SXOC i think . There big time into this conversion due to the E36 m3 discs being cheap as there Sad Maybe not here . You might consider changing the struts to Nissan due to the shorter stroke or the standard strut , less weight , loads about cheap as coilovers , and bigger brakes bolt on . And most importantly a lower roll center without using crappy spacers with add more weight anyway . if you want to keep the Ma61 looking stock you could use the follow which fits in a 15" rim Nissan offset 38' .

R33gts calipers { steel , still light }
or Z32 n/a 300zx calipers { alloy , just watch the bleed nipple }
280MMx32mm z32 n/a Discs { five stud , so will require redrilling } or your might get lucky and find some blanks Smile

I don't need anymore, I have already completed mine (waiting for the calipers to get powder coated atm) using Scubie WRX discs (the 326mm ones) and 300ZX calipers. Smile

The price for the link is $450 for the set of 4 which is pretty good.

If some Brembo's or JZA80 4 potters come up, I'll grab them as I have a set of HSV AWD Coupe discs (AP Racing radially grooved and vented waiting for a project) that they would fit nicely onto Very Happy
