What can I plug this with? Wed, 25 August 2004 14:29 Go to next message
Get your minds out of the gutter...

I've got a catchcan installed here, as per pic and I want to plug the top and the bottom parts where the sight line holders screw in.

Now I took the little black holders to mitre10 so I could just get the right size/thread bolts and plug them that way. But despite the bolts matching the black holders thread/size they do not screw into the catch can.

So what can I use to plug these things up? I was thinking of some sort of rubber stopper but I have no idea where to get something like that from.

Because its on the same side as my headers, it gets pretty warm under there and the sight line gets soft, i dont think its sealing properly on the connectors.

Get the thread retapped to suit Brass bungs. Also install some heat shield on the overflow lines, as the headers will cook them. making them brittle, where they will eventually break.
