I have no idea.
Just bought a 1998 BEAMS gbox (many thanks to 3sgelevin) and just wondered if they stamped the model onto it somewhere. Anyone know?
We also think there is a Torsen LSD in this baby.. weighs like 15kg more than my standard box

Not stamped anywhere that I know of. You can always count ratios to work out box specifics!

Toyota never stamped any indication or model markings on any of their gearboxes... the only way to know is to read off the ID plate from the engine bay the gearbox came from.
