If you like customisation, and a car with a lead tip and no handling.

Basically, it will phyiscally fit (I tihnk), but will ruin all handling.

And besides, the 5me is a motor NOT worthy of converting too.
Get a 3sge, or 3sgte.

I hope you meant to say NOT worthy. Which I would agree with. Huge amount of effort for a mediocre result.

I have to say "why would ya?" Prolly get whipped by the stock 2L or the 2.4L 4cyl.

One of the boys in the club has placed a 1GGTE into an ST141 Corona (Now THAT is a good idea).

So many good engines - leave the 5M to rot in peace (I think that Norbie needs some to set some kind of world record Laughing)

a 5me in a cressida is bad enough, don't ruin a good corona with heavy engine, unless you really have no choice, and even then think twice!!!! get a 1UZ-FE Very Happy what engine does your corona have? 22R-E? 2S? auto, manual? what's the axle code?(on the plate in the engine bay)

2s auto. I am looking for something to put into the engine. I was thinking of a 1ggte supercharger out of a soarer but unlikely.

I saw the title of the thread and had to think, OMFG WTF.

Do not think of the 5M-E as a performance motor, it is best used as a boat anchor, a big heavy one Razz (ps I speak from experience)

Cheers
Wilbo

8k is actually pretty cheap for a turbo engine conversion.
