buying a mark 4 Sat, 28 August 2004 03:33 Go to next message
I am lookin at buying a mark 4 supra and theyre not very common in Perth so i went to a guy who could import one from Japan. He said it would probably be a 93-95 one and would cost about 35k. I was wondering if this was a decent price and also i have been under the impression that the american ones have a bit more power so would anyone think it would be worth tryin to track one down over there instead of the Japan ones.

american = right hand drive. ie. waste of time and money to convert to LHD.

can get 93-95 models for about $30000 now. Make sure you have a good read through all of the importing laws before doing anything. Also, check out www.supraforums.com.au as there was some compliance guy in Perth that you should steer WAY clear of as he seems to like rejecting compliances without explanation. And that means you have to send it back to japan! Sad

good luck
