okay folks...

if anyone can enlighten me as to the rear internal handbrake drum diameter of any of the following, or, if you have any of these rotors lying about that you could measure...it would be greatly appreciated.

general rear rotor dimensions of each vehicle is given below, so you know specifically which rotors im referring to Smile


SUPRA (MK III) M/JZA70
291mm dia | 68.5mm hieght | 18mm thick

SUPRA (MK IV) JZA80 (single piston rear)
307mm dia | 67mm height | 16mm thick

SOARER / LEXUS SC300, SC400 JZZ30 JZZ31
307mm dia | 67mm hieght | 16mm thick
291mm dia | 67.5mm height | 16mm thick

LEXUS LS 400, LS 430
291mm dia | 67.5mm height | 16mm thick
307mm dia | 67mm height | 16mm thick
310mm dia | 67.5mm height | 16mm thick

TARAGO
291mm dia | 68.5mm height | 18mm thick

yeah, 'twas a bit embarrassing when my own website came up under google Rolling Eyes

oops...

bah! i couldnt remember!

im trying to think of a way to make the ma61 handbrake assembly work inside a 190mm drum. like somehow graft some ma70 shoes onto the ma61 shoes...

must be same as specs listed above (ie single piston caliper model)

why/where you get that from dave?

i may not need to borrow it if i can call you and just get a few dimensions off it over the phone.

I suspect its quite close to perfect (according to rear brake plan 34B) so am still after a set to keep... anyone?

second hand or new, doesnt matter as theyll be used for rigging up an assembly, and designing other bits.

must be from the single piston caliper model (most of them will be)

specs are:

307mm dia | 67mm height | 16mm thick | 190mm handbrake drum


may also come off:

SOARER / LEXUS SC300, SC400 JZZ30 JZZ31

Well, I found a pair at the wreckers. DBA didn't have them in stock until only recently and Toyota want about $470 per rotor for them.

Or you can call me, but my Verniers are on the other side of town at the moment.

(wreckers up here dont EVER get the caliber of models you seemt to come accross, st205, jza80 etc etc. all we get is bloody ms85s shitty st141s and truckloads of ra60's)
