5*114.3 20-40mm wheel spacers Sun, 29 August 2004 03:03 Go to next message
I am in need of some wheel spacers for my hilux as my rims dont go on the front, they need to be about 20mm thick minimum and can be up to 40mm thick.

I only need two.

Cheers

You'll need wheel bearings before you know it too!

Given the extra load the bearings will have to deal with (with lets say an extra 30mm offset), will overload them and wear them out quickly. You'll also probably break wheel studs as their length won't be able to support themselves through the spacer - they'll flex as you go around the corners.
