JDM vented discs with aus spec calipers? 86	Mon, 30 August 2004 02:21

recently i've seen some JDM vented discs (only) for sale. I was pondering whether the JDM discs would be compatible with the aus spec 86 disc setup? may be a dumb arse question but i am a dumbarse aussie ae86 [Report message to a moderator]

no the JDM discs are wider you will need JDM calipers [Report message to a moderator]

wider & thicker (17mm vs 12.5 i think) it is "possible" to get the aus spec calipers to fit but it would require you to shave your brake pads...a lot... & thats not a good idea [Report message to a moderator]
