I posted this a while ago, but my digi cam was out of action for a while so I couldn't post pics. I really need to sell them, so make an offer!!!
Set of 2: driver and passenger.
- Extremely comfy & great side support for those 0.9g turns
- Driver's has height and lumbar adjustments
$400 for the pair (or make an offer). I'm in Brisbane, so prefer Brisbane buyer.
Pictures shown are driver's seat:

thanks for looking out for me stefan.
what model prelude are they out of? They look like Gen 5 seats. Am I right? They're not Gen 3, don't really look like Gen 4 but can't decide between Gen 4 and Gen 5. look too good and new to be gen 2 and forget about Gen 1. (I know my preludes).
The reason why i was thinking of prelude seats is because I rang up a toyota wrecker once and asked them about supra seats, and they asked me if i was that hard up on supra seats and said that he had some prelude seats that are better or more comfortable (i think) and bolt straight into the celica.
Do you know if they will fit right into the celicas? Also shipping might be a problem since I'm in Melbourne. I'll look into it around here and see how I go, but yeah I'd be interested.
I actually emailed a place called Hondaspares about prelude seats and the lazy pricks haven't written back. At least with Toyospares they email me straight away......

They are 5th gen seats.
I have no idea what cars they would fit, but with a bit of initiative, I'm sure they will fit anywhere. They were in an 88 Soarer.
Lemme know if ur interested. Maybe $400 with shipping included? We'll see...

Yeah I am still interested but if you can hold off until monday, I'll ring up a few toyota wreckers to get a general idea. They seem to know what they're talking about.
I'll let you know on Monday whether I still want them or not. Is that ok?

If you don't mind me asking, how come the prelude seats were in the soarer? does that mean that the prelude seats are better than the original soarer seats? Also what seats did you replace the prelude seats with?

Weight reduction. Soarer seats are 8 way electrically adjustable. VERY HEAVY!
Soarer was sold with original seats

I have no idea what they are out of, but my seats are definitely out of a 5th gen 'lude.

How does $300 including shipping sound? Otherwise I'd have to give it a miss as they won't be any cheaper than buying them here and I don't have to worry about shipping.
It's up to you.
p.s. classique, the seats you have look like Gen 3 ie. 1987-1991. In fact I'd put money on it.

yeah that was before vtec although with the vtec, the power went from 135 hp in the gen 3 2 litre to about 190 hp in the vtec gen 4's 2.2 litre.

Shit... Sorry man. I didn't see your reply. You can have'em for $300 but you'll have to pay for shipping.
That's the lowest I'll go.

I wasn't really expecting you to take me up on my offer. How much would it cost to get them sent down? I can get them for about $350 here and I went to a toyota wrecker and they had some seats that looked very similar to the previous model prelude for $300. I'm pretty sure they are now since classique's seats have the same levers and everything in the same spot.
Anyway back to the point, I'll see how i go here coz it will be a hell of a lot easier to get them from here than getting them sent down. In the meantime, if you can sell them to someone in brisbane then go for it.

I'll call freight companies and find out how much it would cost to get them sent down and get back to you.

don't worry about it. I ended up getting the gen 4 seats because they were cheaper, didn't have to worry about freight and I knew what I was getting. No offence, but the seats may be perfect now but you don't know if they will get damaged or not. Basically it will be easier on you as you won't have to stuff around with sending them anywhere. But thanks anyway.
If anyone is interested in leather VTIR seats, there's some at a honda place in Oakleigh for $450. The passenger seats railing is bent due to being in an accident.

yeah sorry about that. I think $300 is a good price if you live in brisbane coz then you don't have to worry about the extra cost of shipping. Even still that plus the shipping may end up being a competitive price anyway.
