What is this worth? AE82 Corolla GTI

Gidday guys. I'm a Kiwi and have been here a while, but still struggle sometimes with the $$ cars command over here! I've recently sold my GTX, and am looking for a AE82 or AE92 'Rolla GTI. I've looked at a AE82, but think the asking $$ is pretty high for the K's. It's an '87, 4AGE, all the usuals incl CD, 250 000 kms. High k's I know, but the car is immaculate, i'm a Toyota tech, and I swear if the odometer read 100 000 you would believe it. New clutch, starter motor, windscreen, hoses, recent major service, comes with new RWC and rego. What do you guys think it's worth? The lady owner is asking $4250, and I think shes pissing into the wind???? I'm in Brissie, any opinions would be appreciated.

theres no such thing in oz as an AE82 GTi they were FX16 if it is 2 door, anyone correct me if im wrong ?

Yeah well whatever you call them here... In NZ they were called an FX GT and they were 2 door. The car is '87 AE82 4 door with a 4A-GE... totally original.

i reckon offer $3500 and work to around $4k and ur on a winner! a bloke on a crusie i was on bought one for $5100! but ur on a winner at $4000!
