UHF radio *SOLD* Mon, 30 August 2004 21:09 Go to next message
I bought one of those pairs of UHF radios from Dick Smiths for $90 a little while ago. I only have a need for one. So the other one is for sale. Takes 3XAAA batteries, said 4km straight line range on the box. 40 Channel etc. They are the same ones in the super cheap catalogue at the moment as well as a couple of other places.

$20 plus postage

thanks
chris

These things are good for talking to mates while on long trips... Friends and I went down to Lorne the other day and we talked on these things the whole way there and back. I reckon it would have been 7hrs all up and the batteries were still working when I got home.

Tip: You have to take the batteries out when leaving the CB unused for long periods because for some reason they will kill batteries even when switched off. Wink
