can you explain my diff Phenomena Tue, 31 August 2004 00:45 Go to next message
ok i think my diff has just about had it, its turned into a locker

when i jacked it up both wheels turn the same way, however when i drive it it doesnt lock unless i load it up, anyone explain whats going on in the centre??

My guess is that the satellite bearings are stuffed.

when its in the air are u spinning them using the engine or by hand, cause if its in gear getting turned by the engine, thats just how it works

No, because then it wouldn't act like an LSD Smile

Besides, I've done that with my other diff... damn I've gone from having one locked diff to one open, one locked and one spare diff head... all 4 pinion G series Smile
