the only reason why i'm asking is because my cousin is coming down from the USA and he works at Toyota, he can get 20% discount...

I don't see why not that these parts could be interchangeable with Aus models. It really depends on what you're after, as long as it's not the obvious things like bumper bars, steering components (being on other side), etc.
