the sprinter had an interlude with a gutter on the weekend and im now in the process of replacing bent bits. i have replaced all the damaged bits, but CLG sugested to me that i may need to replace my steering ball joint. is this a part i can buy new from repco or the like as a friend sugested? or do i have to use a second hand item?

I actually suggest you also replace your steering knuckle after reading the list of parts you'd bent, but the ball joints (lower control arm, and steering tie rod ends) should als be addressed too.

Yes, they're easy+cheap to buy, and easy to replace. However, if you haven't done this before you'll probably think it's an absolute bugger of a job Cool It's not so much about applying force, more about applying it in the right place!
