curiously my girlfriend just bought a 1992 jzz30 soarer (1JZGTE-Auto)
and although we are having a bit of fun driving it around, it does seem to suck through a fair amount of juice.
What are average fuel consumption values for these cars.
so far it seems to go through about 8 litres per 60 kays odd and this isn't fanging it at all the lights.
mind you this could all just be becaus we went from a 94 4 cylinder integra

Firstly, congrats to your girl for buying a fine piece of machinery.
My Soarer TT uses around 15L/100km, so it doesn't sound too out of line with the figures she's getting. Just remember you have a whole lot more power and a much heavier car to lug around, so comparing it to a Honda isn't a good thing.

Yeah that sucks, I went from a prelude which ran on a fart for a week to a luxo barge that needs to tow a petrol tank around to run, wouldnt change back tho, not for a million bucks, i loves me barge!

My mates jzz30 doesn't use that much? If he is just cruising around and a bit on the highway will average 10km/L.
