honestly best car i have ever owned.
1988 bubble hatch back manual laser. was that bad cream colour of school desks, had tweety bird seat covers and a cheeky girl sticker on the back
loved it. only ever put petrol in it and drove it, never had a problem.

Actually I miss my Ford Laser too. I mean once we had to replace the ignition module but god DAMN it never broke anything. Plus I think the first (canary yellow) one I had had aftermarket springs cause it felt a damn sight stiffer than the second one and it was a wee little cracker around the twisty bits...the second (red) one never had the same mojo - so I killsed it.

They're not that bad at all. I had a KF hatch that my Granny bought new then gave to me 10 years later with only 110k on the clock. Never had a single prob with it. 600km off a tank ($35 to fill) and never broke down or had mechanical probs.
Good car mate, not a shit car. And I'm a big fan of Tx3's, even being a Skyline owner.

the boy does have a point, lasers are pretty ghey...
But theres no need to tell everyone about it, cos most people already know
Why are you trying to dump the clutch at 7000rpm tho?
What are you trying to prove?

my biggest complaint with the old school lasers I have been in was it's ride was rough as guts (but age would have something to do with that) every little bump I'd feel, besides that they don't seem too bad, there designed to get from point a to point b which they do well and a mate of mine never had problems with his, the next door neighbor I was living next door too had one no probs with hers, (very rough ride but) the newer ones, however, seem to have a lovely ride about them, very comfortable.
all up very cheap runabout very good on fuel
