What car was your autobox from again?
The soarer guys on www.alsc.com.au are right into the MV shift kits and I'm pretty sure I've seen some how-to photos there a few years back.

Hi mate, I wrote an instruction sheet for mike on fitting the shift boxes, so I'll dig it up at work tomorrow and send it to you if you like. As some background, is this a conversion or a soarer?
Also, to make the hookup a bit easier, do you have a multimeter?

Just to clarify, you are talking about the electrical device that makes the auto "tiptronic" right so you can use an aftermarket computer with the auto?
Ms-75: If i remember correctly, he has a 1jz in a VSish model commodore, so a conversion. I am sure he will answer though

yes its in a vs commo. got it mostly sorted tonight..
dramas now are. BIG oil leak form some where.
It seams to be reverse pattern. eg third is where first should be. and vise versa.
as soon as the car hits about 16psi it feels like it just slips its ass off.
Any ideas guys.

Hi there mate-acouple of questions for you.
Are you using the commodore shifter?
Is the trans wired up to the car in any way?
Is there currently ANY power (12V) going to the transmission at all?
IF the trans is not connected electrically in any way, it will only shift 1,3,4. It will not select 2nd gear at all.
Be careful driving it like this as you can damage the trans by over heating it.
Also, make sure the throw of the commodore shifter and the throw of the lever on the toyota box are compatible. If not, re-drill the shifter or the box lever to suit.
Send me your email address and I'll send the sheet to you.

thanks for all the help guys.
yes have power to the trans but seams i had the wires for the two solionds the wrong way around. should have that sorted tomorrow. I am not using the commodores shifter as it is a very GAY piece of shit. instead i have a b and m pro rachet sitting in its place.
Looks like i have sorted all the problem except that the wastegate now wants to sit on the steering rack. (not real good).
Ill let you all know how i go with it tomorrow

ok the only problems i have now are that i can work out the wires for the solinoids, theres 3 or them but from what i can see i only need 2 or them hooked up. Im guessing thats why it just slips away as soon as i hit anything over 15psi.
Any ideas on this Ben.
