is it legal to remove an air bag equiped steering wheel to replace it with aftermarket one?

sux because i still got my sparco steering wheel from my previous car

Nope, if your car comes with an airbag wheel, it has to stay there.

You can however get aftermarket airbag wheels which do look the part.
